Postdoctoral researcher, University of Dundee
The Discipline of Psychology at the University of Dundee (UK) is seeking to appoint a postdoctoral research fellow to work on an ESRC-funded research project entitled “An Experimental Investigation of Syntactic Priming and the Lexical Boost in Language Production”.
The project is led by Dr Roger van Gompel (University of Dundee) in collaboration with Dr Leila Kantola (University of Umeå). The post is based in Dundee.
The aim of the research is to investigate the psychological mechanisms underlying the lexical boost effect in structural priming. The successful applicant will construct sentence materials, design and conduct structural priming experiments and analyse the data. S/he will also be actively involved in dissemination of the research findings.
Salary: Grade 7 (£32,817 – £34,804)
Duration: 8 months from August 2020
